Advanced Methods of Surveying, LLC (AMOS, LLC), is a full service Land Surveying and Construction Management firm that was established in 2012 and is located on St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.
AMOS, LLC is owned and operated by David J. McCoy, PLS. Mr. McCoy is licensed in the U.S. Virgin Islands and Illinois. Mr. McCoy has 38 years of Surveying and Construction experience. Previously the owner of a small Land Surveying firm located in Illinois, he had been the surveyor of several high profile projects before relocating to The Virgin Islands. He has built a reputation for being a thorough and conscious surveyor and construction manager and takes pride in providing his clients with a quality service.
Throughout his career, Mr. McCoy has participated in surveying and construction projects with clients ranging from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, The Illinois Department of Transportation, The Illinois Department of Natural Resources, Eastern Federal Lands Highway Division, Conoco/Phillips Petroleum, and various other government and private entities.
AMOS, LLC has put together a team of experienced and seasoned professionals that have worked on various surveying and construction projects throughout the Virgin Islands as well as the mainland U.S. Some of these projects have lasted for years and had totaled costs of upwards of 2 Billion dollars. Each project is unique in itself in that they can offer certain challenges and hurdles in which this team can accomplish.
